Beloved husband of the late Shirley. Proud father of Kate Tom Heisey, Barbara Hal Mayer, Nancy the late John Whaley, Elaine Ray Smith, Clare Leigh Rodney, Paul Linda, Margaret, Mary Steve Grunis and the late John. Father-in-Law of Gloria. Dear brother of the late Arthur, Eugene and Vernon. Loving grandfather of 17 and great-grandfather of 13. Mr. Isbell retired from the GM Tech Center in his early 70’s. He formerly taught at the Center for Creative Studies in Detroit. Visitation on Monday 4:00 – 8:00 pm and Tuesday 1:00 – 8:00 pm. With Rosary at 6:00 pm. Funeral Mass Thursday 10:30 am, St. Sylvester Catholic Church, Warren, MI. Memorial donations may be made to Toys for Tots
